2012 – Week One

This week just flew by
Oh how I did try
To make the absolute most of it
Still I didn’t get a whole lot done
The decorations not yet put away for one
The kitchen floor, I’ve successfully ignored
And don’t get me started about the laundry
Daughter got a new kitten
We’re all thoroughly smitten
Well, except the four other cats
She’s ginger and cute
And none can refute
The energy she brings
And her name is Sarah Jane
(any guesses who she’s named after????)
So the end of week one
Though I didn’t get a lot done
A new kitten is fun
And it’s definitely not been boring
